DayZ live map for administrators

Turn server coordinates into operational context.

Follow players, vehicles and map-specific world events on supported official and configured custom DayZ maps while the live activity feed stays beside the map.

A map with a job to do

A server-administration map is most useful when it is connected to the rest of the workflow. GAdmin places player markers, vehicles, boats and world events on the same surface as current activity. Selecting a player opens focused details instead of sending the administrator into a separate, disconnected tool.

The goal is not to turn administration into passive tracking. The goal is to make location a useful part of a decision: understand where activity occurred, which player is involved and what the recent server context looks like.

Live data comes from your server

The GAdmin Agent is paired with the DayZ server environment or supported hosting integration and uploads authenticated map snapshots over outbound HTTPS. The portal verifies that each Agent credential belongs to the expected server before accepting data. The map view then displays the latest trusted snapshot available to that workspace.

Operational data stays scoped

Map and player information belongs to the authenticated workspace. The public product demo uses isolated sample data and never connects to a production server.

What administrators can see

  • Current player markers and selected-player detail.
  • Known vehicles, coastal boats and supported event markers.
  • A continuously updating activity stream beside the terrain.
  • Map controls for panning, zooming and focusing the current view.
  • Historical position context where the workspace and permissions allow it.

DeerIsle 6.1 event markers

When the server reports a DeerIsle world and runs a compatible GAdmin Agent build, the live map recognizes the map-specific static event groups below. Each group uses a distinct POI symbol so administrators can distinguish it without opening the marker.

  • StaticBoatSubmarine — a compact submarine marker.
  • StaticVanPinkies — a pink delivery-van marker.
  • StaticVanAmbulance — an ambulance marker with a medical cross.
  • StaticSurvivorCamps — a survivor-tent and camp marker.
  • StaticSkeletonEventspawn — a skull marker for the skeleton event.
Both components must support the event

The Agent identifies and uploads the DeerIsle event. The Portal then classifies, localizes and draws its POI. Updating only one side does not provide the complete map experience.

Use spatial context responsibly

Live position data is powerful administrative information. Access should be limited to team members who need it, and actions should follow the rules communicated to your community. GAdmin's permission model and audit trail help a workspace keep those responsibilities visible.

Frequently asked questions

Does the live map require the GAdmin Agent?

Yes. Rich map snapshots are supplied by the authenticated GAdmin Agent paired with the DayZ server.

Is the public demo connected to a real server?

No. The demo is a separate static site with sample data and no API, WebSocket, RCON or production-session access.

Which terrain is shown?

The public preview uses sample map data. Workspace maps are selected from the server’s detected world and configured map catalogue; event types can differ between official and custom maps.
